1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to training, professional development events, online courses, Community membership, consultancy, assessment services, downloadable resources and other professional content and services provided by Castiglione Consulting Ltd.
By booking, purchasing or accessing any service, event, course, membership, consultancy, assessment or resource provided by Castiglione Consulting Ltd, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings and Payment
Bookings may be made:
Online via card payment, or
Via invoice request through the Invoice Booking form, or
By direct agreement with Castiglione Consulting Ltd.
For invoice bookings, payment terms are 28 days from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Places or services are confirmed upon receipt of payment, official purchase order confirmation, or other agreed booking confirmation.
Castiglione Consulting Ltd reserves the right to withhold access to an event, course, membership, resource or service where payment has not been received in accordance with agreed terms.
3. Live Online Events
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable.
Delegate substitutions are permitted at any time prior to the event.
4. Face-to-Face Events
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 28 days or more before the event date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 14 and 27 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable.
Delegate substitutions are permitted at any time prior to the event.
5. On-Demand Courses
Refunds may be requested within 7 days of purchase provided no course materials have been accessed.
Once course content has been accessed, purchases are non-refundable.
Access to on-demand courses is granted for the period stated at the time of purchase.
6. Community Membership
Community membership is provided for the membership period stated at the time of purchase.
Membership benefits, resources and activities may be updated or varied from time to time.
Community content and discussion are intended to support professional learning and discussion. Members remain responsible for professional decisions made within their own settings.
Membership is for the named individual or individuals covered by the relevant subscription and may not be shared with others.
7. Consultancy and Mentoring
Consultancy and mentoring are provided within the scope agreed at the time of booking and are based on the information made available to Castiglione Consulting Ltd by the client.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information where this is necessary for the service.
Advice and guidance provided reflect the regulations, guidance and professional information available at the time the service is delivered.
Where consultancy relates to examination access arrangements, responsibility for decisions concerning individual candidates, applications, evidence, implementation of arrangements and compliance with JCQ and awarding body requirements remains with the centre.
Consultancy advice should be considered alongside the centre's own evidence, policies, procedures and the current published regulations and guidance.
8. Assessment Services
Access arrangements assessment services are provided within the scope agreed with the commissioning organisation.
The commissioning organisation is responsible for ensuring that relevant background information and documentation are made available where required.
Assessment findings and recommendations are based on the information available, the assessment undertaken and the regulations and guidance in force at the time.
The final decision regarding the application and implementation of examination access arrangements remains the responsibility of the centre in accordance with current JCQ and awarding body requirements.
9. Recordings
Where live sessions are recorded, recordings are made available to registered participants for the stated access period.
Recordings and materials are provided for individual professional use only and must not be shared, distributed or reproduced without written permission.
10. Intellectual Property
All training materials, recordings, slide decks, downloadable resources and supporting documents remain the intellectual property of Castiglione Consulting Ltd unless otherwise stated.
Materials may not be reproduced, shared or distributed beyond the registered delegate, member or authorised user without prior written consent.
11. Certificates and CPD
CPD certificates will be issued following verification of attendance or completion in accordance with course requirements.
It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that any attendance, completion or other requirements are met.
12. Event Changes and Cancellation by Us
Castiglione Consulting Ltd reserves the right to:
Make reasonable changes to event content, format or speakers, or
Cancel or reschedule an event where necessary.
In the event of cancellation by Castiglione Consulting Ltd, a full refund of the relevant event fee will be offered.
Liability in relation to an event cancellation is limited to the fee paid for the event.
13. Professional Information and Disclaimer
Castiglione Consulting Ltd takes reasonable care to ensure that information provided through its training, online courses, consultancy, assessment services, Community, resources, websites and other professional services is accurate and reflects the relevant regulations and guidance available at the time of preparation or delivery.
Information relating to examination access arrangements and associated professional practice is provided for training, professional development, consultancy and guidance purposes. Regulations, guidance and awarding body requirements may be amended or updated. Delegates, members, clients and other users should therefore refer to the current published regulations and guidance issued by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and the relevant awarding body.
Responsibility for decisions relating to individual candidates, the implementation of access arrangements and compliance with JCQ and awarding body requirements remains with the centre.
Examples, case studies, templates, model documents, assessment recommendations, consultancy advice, discussion within the Community and other resources provided by Castiglione Consulting Ltd should be considered in the context of the individual candidate, the evidence available and the centre's own policies and procedures.
While every reasonable effort is made to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Castiglione Consulting Ltd cannot accept responsibility for decisions made, actions taken or outcomes arising from the use or interpretation of information, guidance or advice provided through its training, courses, consultancy, assessments, Community, resources, websites or other professional content and services.
14. Limitation of Liability
Castiglione Consulting Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its training, courses, consultancy, assessment services, resources, Community or other services.
Subject to any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, total liability in connection with the relevant training, course, consultancy, assessment, membership or service shall not exceed the amount paid for that training, course, consultancy, assessment, membership or service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
